Emotions with colors

This week's assignment was to create 3 compositions per feeling (Anger, happiness, hunger, and melancholy); One main composition and two others that we feel are weaker.
ANGER:
I feel that the first picture represents the emotion of anger better because of its shape and the color combination of the two different reds, unlike the second one which has movement but contrasts red and orange, or the third one, which focuses more on the overall shape composition than colors.







































HAPPYNESS:
Here again I like the one that is not focused on the shape of the composition (the second one).
I found the third one interesting because of both the color combination and shape.







































HUNGER;
I thought this one was the hardest to achieve. Only combinations of shapes and colors came to mind, shapes that sugested food. The first one is my favorite, because it looks like your tongue dreaming. The second one reminds me of two teeths about to bite something, and the third one looks like a mcdonalds ad, it has the same colors....


































MELANCHOLY:
I used faded colors and some shape compositions for these works. When I think of melancholy I think of something decaying, dying, falling...This is why you can find in these works a movement from left to right or up to down by either a change from big to small strips, or arrows pointing down....
